A Message From Our Director
WHY IMPACT VOLLEYBALL CLUB?
Time to turn up the heat… please read through.
I am passionate about women's sports and what it is doing to our young women.
The landscape of youth sports is shifting, and it is doing something profound to our young women. Across California and throughout the nation, current sports regulations often dismiss young women, failing to honor them for who they truly are in all their unique strength, power, and beauty. God's call on young women is immense. Yet, the world would have us believe that women are less than valuable, pushing agendas that place them against men in women's sports (yes even in the club volleyball system), and pitting women against women in a culture of envy, pride, and deceit. The club volleyball system, as it stands today, is not building women up—it is tearing them down.
When the recruiting and club system becomes the sole measure of a player's worth, the toll is heavy. Volleyball icon Kerri Walsh Jennings captured this modern struggle perfectly when she noted:
“When June 15th arrives and things don't happen the way that athletes imagined, then athletes start making it mean, 'Maybe I'm not good enough, maybe coaches don't like me, maybe I missed my opportunity, maybe I didn't do enough, maybe I'm not recruitable…'”— Kerri Walsh Jennings
In her media features and podcasts, Walsh Jennings frequently advises parents that the most elite, high-stress club environment isn't always the healthiest choice for a young athlete's development. She emphasizes that the pressure to make the “top tier” team frequently causes girls to lose their passion for the sport entirely. Instead, she pushes for a culture that lowers the fear of failure, allowing athletes to grow with confidence rather than anxiety.

Our Mission

Impact Volleyball Club was founded with a simple but powerful mission: to develop competitive athletes who are also people of character. We believe that sport, when done right, is one of the best tools for shaping young lives.
We operate as a distinct program from WCI — with competitive tryouts, a structured season, and dedicated coaching — while carrying the same family values and faith-centered approach that makes our community special.
Our athletes train hard, compete harder, and leave IVC better equipped for life than when they arrived.
Our Program
Club volleyball runs winter/spring — completely separate from the fall WCI season. No conflict, all upside.
Our Coaches
Led by experienced staff including a former NCAA National Champion, bringing elite collegiate experience to every practice.
Our Community
Practices in Rocklin/Roseville. Regional tournaments locally and in the Bay Area. National qualifiers in Reno and beyond.
